Frost Proof Jacket Magnetic Level Gauge The UHZ Series Magnetic Level Gauge includes this frost proof jacket magnetic level gauge. The unit is side mounted on the tank wall. A magnetic float sits inside the stainless steel main tube. The float rises and falls with the liquid level. The float magnetic field turns the red and white flags outside the tube. The red flags show the liquid level position. The white flags show the area above the liquid. This gives a clear direct reading with no power needed. The unit has an outer jacket layer around the main tube. Room temperature water or low pressure steam flows through the jacket. This balances the temperature between the inside and outside of the tube. This prevents frost ice and fog from forming on the indicator panel. The housing and wetted parts are made from 304 or 316L stainless steel. The double layer welded construction gives good strength and weather resistance.
