Ferro Silicon Nitride for Steelmaking   Ferrosilicon Nitride is a nitrogen-containing ferroalloy material used in steelmaking as both a silicon source and a nitrogen addition agent. It is produced by nitriding ferrosilicon under a controlled nitrogen atmosphere, forming stable silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) phases along with iron and residual ferrosilicon. During steel production, Ferrosilicon Nitride provides two important functions. Silicon helps remove oxygen from molten steel, while nitrogen improves steel properties through strengthening and grain refinement. This makes it a useful alloying material for producing high-quality steels with improved strength, hardness, and durability.
