Flexible copper wire with a flame-retardant grade designation ZB-BVR is a single-core BVR cable with a stranded copper conductor and PVC insulation. It is specified for fixed wiring in power installations, buildings and electrical systems at 450/750 V. Stranded copper conductor for routed fixed wiring The conductor-end view separates the copper strands so the single-core construction is easy to inspect. PVC insulation surrounds that conductor without an additional cable sheath. Use the BVR cable specification to define the required section within the 1.5–400 mm² range; the red coil shown below is labelled 1 × 6 mm² and 450/750 V.
