SDS-PAGE protein loading buffer (SDS-PAGE Sample loading buffer, 5X) is an optimized formulation with bromophenol blue as tracking dye. This fivefold concentrated loading buffer fits routine pretreatment of all standard SDS-PAGE protein samples. Instructions for use Thaw and dissolve 5X SDS-PAGE loading buffer at ambient temperature or a water bath below 37°C. Transfer to room temperature right after water bath dissolution; prolonged heating in warm water bath is prohibited. Blend protein samples with 5X loading buffer following the volume ratio: 1 μL loading buffer mixed with 4 μL protein sample.
