Foundry Sodium Bentonite for Casting

As a key clay sand casting material and cast iron auxiliary material, this foundry sodium bentonite has become a core binder for green sand casting due to its high expansibility and strong bonding force. The product selects high-quality bentonite ore from Inner Mongolia, undergoes sodium modification treatment, with montmorillonite content ≥85%, expansion ratio ≥25ml/g, and wet compressive strength ≥0.28MPa. It can significantly improve the flexural and compressive properties of sand molds. When used in combination with foundry compound sand, foundry coal powder, and foundry starch, it can form a stable sand mold structure, effectively resist the scouring of molten metal, and reduce casting sand adhesion defects.
