Hair Care Silicone Conditioning Emulsion

Dimethiconol Conditioning in Water-Based Hair Care Higsoft®-1030 is a fine-particle, anionic Water-based Silicone emulsion used in shampoos and conditioners. Its Dimethiconol phase helps improve wet combing and hair smoothness, while TEA-Dodecylbenzenesulfonate supports dispersion in the aqueous system. The supplied emulsion contains 26–30% solids and is used in personal care products requiring a light conditioning finish. How the Silicone Emulsion Works in Shampoo During rinsing, the Silicone Emulsion helps reduce combing resistance without greatly affecting foam. The conditioning effect comes from the dispersed silicone rather than from using neat Silicone Oil. This makes it suitable for shampoo formulas where cleansing and after-wash manageability must be considered together.
